You can create a deck from:
Home: click Upload Document.
Any folder: open a folder and use Upload Document.
Sidebar: use Upload Document to start the same flow.
📥 Pick your starting source
Choose what you want to learn from. Flashka will create a new deck and attach this source to it.
Document
Upload a PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Keynote (.key), Pages (.pages), TXT.
Max size: 50 MB.
Photos
Snap or upload textbook pages and handwritten notes.
Transcribe Audio
Upload a lecture or voice memo (mp3, wav, m4a, webm up to 100 MB).
Set the Language (or Auto Detect). Flashka creates a transcript and structured notes, which you can turn into Flashcards or Quizzes.
Others
Text: paste any text; we will convert it into flashcards.
Anki Deck Import: bring existing cards with .apkg files (up to 150 MB).
Describe: tell the AI what you want to learn; it will generate a starting set of cards.
Manual: write your own cards from scratch.
⚙️ What happens next
Flashka creates the deck and attaches your source.
You can Generate flashcards automatically, add cards manually, or start studying with Spaced Repetition, Fast Review, Quizzes, or Exam Simulations.
Everything stays organised in the deck, so you can return to your source, regenerate cards, and track progress.
💸 Cost
Creating a deck and attaching a source is free.
Credits are only used later for actions that say they cost credits (for example, generating quiz questions).
💡 Tip
Use folders on Home to keep related decks grouped by course or topic.
