Generate Flashcards with "Autogenerate" Button

Creating flashcards from your material takes only a few seconds.
You can use the violet Auto-Generate button either from the document viewer or from the flashcard view.

⚙️ From the Document Viewer

1. Click the violet Generate Flashcards button on the right sidebar.

2. Review your generated cards using the arrows to move between them.

3. Tap Generate more if you want additional flashcards from the same section.

4. Adjust your Generation Settings anytime with the ⚙️ settings icon.

⚙️ From the Flashcard View

1. Click the violet Generate Flashcards button in the centre of the screen.

2. Scroll through the newly created cards to review or edit them.

3. Press Generate more to keep expanding your set.

4. Use the ⚙️ icon to fine-tune your settings.

🎚️ Generation Settings Explained

When you open the Generation Settings panel, you can personalise how Flashka’s AI creates your cards:

• Page Range:
  Choose to generate from the Next 5 pages or from the Full Document (Pro).

• Flashcard Detail:
  Choose Every detail to capture all information, or Only key points to focus on main concepts.

• Type of Cards:
  Select one or more types at once:
  - Basics for classic question and answer cards
  - MCQ for multiple choice questions
  - Term & Definitions for key term pairs
  - Cloze for fill-in-the-blank cards

• Custom Prompt:
  Add optional focus instructions, for example Focus only on brain anatomy.

• Language:
  Automatically detected from your document, or you can set it manually.

When you are ready, click Generate Flashcards and your study set will appear instantly.

Each generated flashcard costs 1 credit.
Cards are always created only from the visible context of your document or PDF to ensure accuracy and relevance.
